I rolled back the drivers to previous versions and then restarted the computer. I uninstalled all the sound drivers and then restarted the computer. Here are the steps that I was told to go through today. When I click on it, it runs a troubleshooting cycle and tells me "one or more audio service isn't running". The speaker icon in the right hand corner has a red x on it like it is muted. So I have spent the better part of the day chatting with Microsoft support and wasn't able to find a solution to my problem.
